Bare Root Plants

The bareroot business is for the most part a spring business. It is occasional that a grower we deal with can ship in the fall. While most growers will dig in the fall they can't grade to ship soon enough to satisfy. Southern growers can dig in the fall but that is often well into December before it becomes full force. So, if you are planning a bare root purchase you will want to make sure you are ready for spring. Keeping track of inventory is a challenge in bare root and orders are very changeable. What that means is if we tell you that a plant is not available in March, it might be in May. Not our fault, things change.

We ship mostly UPS of if the quantities are such we can ship by common carrier. We ship mostly from two nurseries in the Dakotas and one in Central Tennessee, we also source from some other selected growers. For the most part you can find any bare root plants from us if we have time to look for you.
